Smallholder Farmers’ Coffee: EUDR Compliant
Born and raised within the farmers’ community, we proudly partner with thousands of smallholder coffee farmers surrounding our primary processing sites in the Semen Bench, Debub Bench, and Sheko districts of the Bench Sheko Zone in southwest Ethiopia. These dedicated farmers, as our outgrower members, supply high-quality red cherries for wet processing and naturally dried coffee for hulling. We have verified the geolocations of these smallholders to ensure traceability and transparency in our supply chain.
Our commitment to sustainability is reinforced by our EUDR compliance, which ensures that all sourced coffee meets stringent European Union regulations regarding deforestation and environmental protection. This compliance not only highlights our dedication to ethical sourcing but also empowers our farmers to adopt practices that preserve their natural ecosystems. By providing support in production, harvesting, and certification, we help these farmers thrive while maintaining the integrity of their land.
Having returned to our roots, we are dedicated to transforming the lives of these farmers, who are like family to us—indeed, some of them are direct relatives. Committed to organic and Rainforest Alliance certification, we create market opportunities that reflect the high quality of their specialty coffee. Together, we celebrate the rich heritage of Ethiopian coffee and its profound impact on the lives of our smallholder farmers.
